About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Client delivery — own the end-to-end delivery and configuration of the platform for clients, getting new studies live and supported on time and within compliance
- Product delivery — own the team's delivery rhythm: prioritization, planning, and release coordination for the core platform in collaboration with the Product management team
- The bridge — intake the feature requirements, enhancement requests from product team and create the realistic development plan in collaboration with the engineering team, and keep both sides aligned on what comes first and why
- Priority calls — make and communicate the trade-offs when client delivery and product work compete for the same people
- Delivery health — track and report progress using meaningful flow metrics, and surface risks early with options
- Process efficiency - As the engineering team matures, build efficiency KPIs for teams’ delivery and quality performance. You will partner closely with the Technical Lead, who owns technical direction; this role owns coordination and delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years managing software delivery, with a strong track record of shipping on time
- Proven experience owning client-facing delivery or implementation — not only internal product work
- Strong agile background, with the judgement to choose and adapt the right approach for the team rather than applying one framework by rote (we are not tied to a single methodology)
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent priorities and competing deadlines
- A natural translator between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, who can negotiate realistic plans between the two
- Strong ownership instincts — accountable for outcomes, not just facilitation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — builds trust quickly across clients, leadership, and the engineering team, and keeps everyone informed and aligned
- Stays composed under pressure — keeps a clear head and a steady hand when priorities collide, deadlines tighten, or issues escalate, and brings the team along calmly
- Clear, honest communicator who brings problems forward early
- Clinical and Regulatory Life sciences background is essential — experience delivering software in clinical trials, healthcare IT, pharma, medical devices, or an equivalent regulated environment
- Understanding of what it means to deliver within a validated, GxP-compliant system — change control, data integrity, and the discipline a regulated environment demands
- Enough technical fluency to coordinate engineering work credibly — understand dependencies, ask the right questions, and challenge estimates (you do not need to write code)
- Comfortable with standard delivery and collaboration tooling, and open to AI-assisted tools that speed up planning and reporting
