About the role
- Define and execute a forward-looking data strategy in close collaboration with the Chief Innovation Officer.
- Identify high-value opportunities for AI and data-led transformation.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Business Unit leaders, translating business challenges into data-driven roadmaps.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, repeatable data products and AI tools that enhance internal operations and client-facing services.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing data science and analytics team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Drive execution of projects involving machine learning, statistical modeling, data automation, and predictive analytics.
- Collaborate with the Chief Innovation Officer to ensure strategic alignment with broader enterprise innovation strategy and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years in data strategy and analytics with a proven track record of turning data into business outcomes.
- Proven ability to develop and execute data strategies that drive business transformation.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering data products at scale.
- Deep knowledge of data science, AI/ML, cloud data platforms, and modern analytics stacks.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to collaborate closely with C-level leaders, particularly the Chief Innovation Officer.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and translate strategy into execution.
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries required.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills.
