About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide both complex and smaller projects within your assigned region to completion, from initiation through delivery to closure
Coordinate cross-functional teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
Define, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risks
Help establish an organizational project management discipline and serve as an ambassador for the adoption of project management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies with Red Hat services
Manage projects while achieving utilization and revenue targets
Understand market trends and competitive offerings and services, including what business problems they solve, their strengths, weaknesses, and value propositions, and how they compare and contrast to Red Hat's solutions portfolio
Assist with training the project team on the application of appropriate procedures and processes
Work with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; contribute to the project estimation and review process

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Knowledge of specific project management and technical delivery methodologies used in the IT industry
Solid interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills with business insight
Ability to work in a team as well as on your own; ability to motivate project team and individual contributors and mediate conflicts
Technical experience and knowledge with Red Hat related solutions is a plus
Project management certification is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch strongly preferred
