About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner to help drive success

  • Handle simple customer issues focusing on problems with a predefined or limited scope
  • Follow documented practices and procedures when analyzing data or handling technical situations
  • Actively listen, ask questions during mentoring or team discussions
  • Explore the development of new technical content and work towards achieving Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS-2) proficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic knowledge or a strong interest in foundational technologies relevant to Red Hat’s portfolio (e.g., Linux/RHEL, OpenShift, Cloud-Native apps, Automation/Ansible)
  • Awareness of common third-party software/ISV products and how they encounter Red Hat environments
  • Ability to follow technical documentation, standard workflows, and troubleshooting procedures
  • High learning agility with a strong focus on foundational learning paths, process adoption, and soft skills refinement (such as presentation and communication skills)
  • Excellent active listening skills and the ability to articulate customer needs internally
  • High level of responsibility for your own work and a commitment to timely delivery of assigned tasks
  • Being highly receptive to mentoring, constructive feedback, and guidance from peers and leaders.
