About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at key enterprise accounts
Define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio
Lead medium to large-sized project teams and ensure quality of customer deliverables
Apply consulting, business, and process expertise in work
Coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships
Match customer requirements with functional capabilities of solutions
Design and implement modern platform architectures using Red Hat OpenShift
Win customer confidence through delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops
Act as a trusted advisor to Red Hat and customer resources
Consider customer culture in design and delivery, highlight opportunities for improvement
Support technical pre-sales efforts, workshops, and proofs of concept
Demonstrate strong experience in defining best practices for platform deployment
Accelerate collaboration across stakeholders and project teams
Deliver workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and knowledge transfer
Mentor and guide junior consultants and customer engineers
Contribute to Red Hat’s internal methodologies and consulting assets
Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into customer solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience working in a consulting role
Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift platforms
In-depth expertise in managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments
Proven expertise in operationalizing the Red Hat OpenShift container platform through adoption of Service Mesh, GitOps principles, and serverless frameworks
Experience with RHEL, Satellite, and Pacemaker
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, or similar platforms
Experience migrating workloads to the OpenShift container platform
Proven leadership in modern software and platform transformation projects
Experience with infrastructure as code, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both technical and business audiences
Engagement in open-source communities or contributor background
Red Hat OpenShift certification required
Good to have experience in working with AI platform and Models
