About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform high-quality Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) and human translation of deeply technical Red Hat content from English into Korean
  • Translate and adapt software user interfaces, ensuring character limits, variables, and technical context are meticulously maintained
  • Use direct feedback from Red Hat’s Korean enterprise customers and internal regional teams to continuously refine style guides, glossaries, and translation memory
  • Partner directly with Red Hat software engineers and technical writers to clarify complex architectural concepts and improve source-content localizability
  • Work collaboratively with peer translators and open-source community contributors to maintain linguistic consistency across the Red Hat ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A strong understanding of IT, cloud computing, or enterprise software concepts
  • Native-level fluency in Korean and professional/advanced proficiency in English
  • Familiarity with modern Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools
  • Ability to work autonomously as a remote employee in Australia
