About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform high-quality Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) and human translation of deeply technical Red Hat content from English into Korean
Translate and adapt software user interfaces, ensuring character limits, variables, and technical context are meticulously maintained
Use direct feedback from Red Hat’s Korean enterprise customers and internal regional teams to continuously refine style guides, glossaries, and translation memory
Partner directly with Red Hat software engineers and technical writers to clarify complex architectural concepts and improve source-content localizability
Work collaboratively with peer translators and open-source community contributors to maintain linguistic consistency across the Red Hat ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong understanding of IT, cloud computing, or enterprise software concepts
Native-level fluency in Korean and professional/advanced proficiency in English
Familiarity with modern Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools
Ability to work autonomously as a remote employee in Australia
