About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in the FASTER Program, Field Accelerator for Sales and Technical Emerging Roles.
Gain hands-on experience with Red Hat's portfolio and contribute to real-world customer solutions from day one.
Discover how we support our customers in addressing their technical, developmental, and strategic business challenges.
Build a strong support network of your Peers, Managers, Mentors, and other Red Hatters.
Develop technical skills that span Cloud, Automation, and AI solutions by completing training programs and attaining industry-recognized certifications.
Support the Sales organizations’ goals to deliver customer business value and build enterprise IT solutions based on Red Hat platforms.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Passion and curiosity for open source technology, desire to build a career within the Tech industry, and expertise in emerging technologies
Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields, gained through university programs, up-skilling boot camps, certificate programs, or military experience.
Demonstrated project experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in an Enterprise IT-related project
Motivation to engage in self-directed learning on new technologies
Desire to be customer-focused, understanding customer needs, and helping them achieve their goals
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites for project work and to local Red Hat offices to engage other Red Hat associates
Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers
Some exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming languages (e.g., Java, Go) is a plus
Direct experience with any of Red Hat products, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat AI platform, and related technologies is a plus
Australian government security clearance is required for this role.
