About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience
Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
Learn new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs
Adapt to changing customer requirements and act as a trusted advisor
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner
Deliver quality results both on-site and remotely and provide post-engagement deliverables that are on time and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies at a delivery level
Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and supporting enterprise-wide deployments
Knowledge of one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions such as Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Ansible Automation Platform
Strong customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions
Understanding of the open source community
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
German language level C1 or above is mandatory
Willingness to travel across EMEA if required
Prior experience in a consulting role or Red Hat certifications is a plus
Willingness to obtain security clearance is a plus
