About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Learn Red Hat's virtualization stack and virtualization solutions
  • Execute test automation of Virtualization product, investigate failures and debugging issues
  • Research, develop, and implement test automation tools and frameworks
  • Collaborate and contribute to upstream virtio-win communities, testing or fixing issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good programming/scripting skills with C language and/or Ruby
  • Taken and excelled in the Operating Systems course
  • Developed own projects
  • Participant of open source communities
  • Interest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of virtualization (KVM, QEMU, libvirt, cloud or container and similar) is a plus
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2027 or 2028.
  • Must be available for the internship from August 2026 till July 2027
