About the role

Lead technical validation (Proof of Concept) and prototyping based on Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Application Services
Help customers streamline enterprise application development with a focus on cloud-native technologies and improve feature releases
Design and deliver standard solution implementations alone and co-lead delivery for one product in a standard project
Contribute to architectural design translation and take ownership for individual tasks in complex projects
Assist in project planning, drive the team towards project goals, and manage customer expectations
Adapt project tasks to customer environment issues and clearly articulate customer benefits of Red Hat technologies
Act as trusted advisor to technical Red Hat and customer resources and identify future opportunities for other Red Hat products/services
Actively guide consultants and associate consultants, provide feedback, present to customers/internal audiences, and maintain Red Hat messaging

10+ years of experience with and advanced knowledge of middleware technologies, including enterprise web or middleware development
Experience with application integration using Camel, Kafka, Quarkus, Keycloak, API Management on Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes
6+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders and architects on development and deployment projects
Consulting and people skills; experience providing technical leadership to a small team
Experience defining solutions architectures and designing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale solutions
Knowledge of software development methodologies, object-oriented design, enterprise integration and software design patterns
Understanding of Java frameworks such as Quarkus and Spring Boot
Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD technologies like Tekton and Argo CD
Understanding of automation and scripting tools like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
Has a few certifications related to their area of expertise (not limited to Red Hat certifications)
Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time to customer locations throughout Japan
Embraces growth mindset and actively consumes advanced technical training
