About the role
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and deliver a customer success and adoption strategy aligned to SAP's business goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor to SAP to maximize value realized from Red Hat product subscriptions and services
- Identify new opportunities and be responsible for onboarding, adoption, advocacy, retention, and growth of the customer account
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a migration and modernization roadmap for applicable workloads and applications
- Orchestrate design & discovery sessions to build implementation plans in line with customer business goals
- Act as the Voice of the Customer; share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers
- Assess customer knowledge of Red Hat’s products and overall cloud readiness and ensure delivery through partners
- Meet or exceed assigned growth and revenue targets
- Lead, coordinate, influence, and focus organizational energy across Red Hat departments and partner teams to deliver on the customer success strategy and handle customer-impacting issues
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working in an enterprise software environment as a Software Sales, Customer Success Executive or technical advisor with focus on business development
- Demonstrated knowledge of the SAP domain that enables the development of a well-defined vision and strategy
- Substantial customer success experience, experience advocating for customers and ability to foster and cultivate relationships with strategic customers and partners
- Industry transformation vision and the ability to explain technical topics
- Experience with technical project planning and execution management
- Ability to independently deliver consultative type customer facing engagements
- Practical knowledge of DevOps and agile concepts, application development and deployment tools
- Practical experience of one or more Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud) and their integration with enterprise customers is a plus
- Recent Public Cloud certification is a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in articulating the business value associated with Red Hat (or related) products and solutions
- Solid understanding of the open-source development model and open-source software solutions
- Experience executing change management within software development teams or enterprise organizations
- Outstanding communication skills (fluent in German and English)
- Willingness to travel/ be onsite at the customer location up to 50%
- Preferably located in the area around Frankfurt or Stuttgart, Germany
