About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and regularly update technical learning paths for Red Hat products, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity
  • Stay current with new technologies, programming languages, and software development principles
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Monitor and engage with solutions architects and various product internal Slack channels
  • Apply foresight and knowledge of industry trends and user data to prioritize learning paths
  • Occasionally assist with high-impact demonstrations of products and technologies for various industry verticals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a Developer Advocate or in a similar technical writing/content creation role
  • Essential understanding of modern software development principles; proficiency in multiple programming languages is highly desirable
  • Practical experience or strong foundational knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift container technology
  • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse (Mac, Linux, and/or Windows) development environments
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; a background in journalism or other fast-paced writing is a strong plus
  • The ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, developer advocates, and other teams
  • Commitment to clearly documenting all prerequisites and technical setup requirements (e.g., Git, specific software versions)
  • A high degree of curiosity and the willingness to learn where to find solutions to technical challenges
  • Ability to manage time effectively, focus, and work autonomously
