About the role
- Define the strategic vision, business case, and phased roadmap for the Intelligence Engine, ensuring alignment with overall digital experience and AI strategy.
- Manage the backlog, prioritize features, and communicate product updates and value to stakeholders.
- Conduct needs assessments, market research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for platform growth and feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with application teams, marketing, and business stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and define user stories for personalization use cases.
- Work closely with the engineering and data architecture teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications, ensuring scalable and reliable API design and data integration patterns.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to ensure the platform supports emerging AI agent requirements as well as traditional personalization use cases.
- Define and monitor key product success metrics (KPIs) related to platform adoption, usage, performance, and business impact.
- Partner with Data Privacy and Governance teams to ensure customer data handling meets regulatory and policy requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, specifically working with data platforms, personalization engines, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or LLM context management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to define and execute a product vision and roadmap for complex, data-intensive APIs or AI/ML platforms.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, particularly as applied to personalization, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with LLM context management for Agentic workflows.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and how they relate to building a unified customer view.
- Experience with API products, including defining API specifications, documentation, and managing the developer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering, data science, and design teams to drive product development from concept to launch.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and convey complex technical/data concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Experience defining metrics and conducting quantitative analysis to measure product success.
