About the role

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines used for building, testing, and releasing components of the Red Hat OpenShift AI platform
Assist in the automation of internal services and workflows, reducing friction for developers and improving engineering efficiency
Collaborate with engineers across DevTestOps, Product Engineering, and QE teams to support delivery goals
Learn and apply GitOps principles to manage configuration and deployment of automation tasks
Participate in maintaining the health of DevOps infrastructure including Jenkins jobs, GitHub Actions, and other automation tools
Help document processes and tools to support team knowledge sharing
Experiment with and explore AI-assisted development tools that may enhance team productivity
Support release processes, including validation, smoke tests, and infrastructure readiness for Red Hat AI products
Test like a customer and provide feedback and recommendations on how to make the RHOAI platform better

Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Republic of Ireland for full duration of the internship
Must be able to join full time from January till August 2026
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the fields of DevOps, AI/ML, and cloud-native software development
Some familiarity with Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
Curiosity about how CI/CD pipelines work and willingness to explore tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Basic understanding of Git or other version control tools
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
