About the role

  • Serve as the technical owner for the on-prem PostgreSQL data layer
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of the deployment mechanism
  • Drive modifications and refactoring of the existing Python/Django application
  • Champion a high level of code quality and security
  • Architect CI/CD pipelines for deployable assets
  • Act as a technical mentor and coach
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Field Engineering

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
  • 5+ years of experience developing Python/Django applications
  • 4+ years of experience in Linux/Container administration
  • 3+ years of experience designing integration patterns
  • Extensive experience leading Agile workflows
  • Preferred Plus Direct experience contributing to Kubernetes Operators
  • Experience architecting the migration from distributed SQL query engines
  • Proven track record of building enterprise grade CI/CD systems
  • Experience leveraging AI assisted tooling
