About the role
- Support enterprise customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions
- Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration and microservices
- Perform technical reviews and proactively identify and prevent issues
- Understand customer technical infrastructures and advocate on their behalf
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams
- Create documentation regarding customer issues and resolutions
- Manage and grow customer relationships through attentive support
Requirements
- Prior experience in technical support, engineering, operations, or quality assurance roles
- Strong understanding of Linux, and supporting areas such as networking, storage, and security
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and specifically with OpenShift Virtualization
- Deep familiarity with OpenShift architectures, APIs, operators, and cluster operations
- Strong customer-facing skills: ability to grow relationships, foster trust, and communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Commitment to pursue relevant Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, OpenShift Administration, OpenShift Virtualization)
- Collaborative mindset, able to work across internal (Red Hat) and external (customer, integrators, partners) teams
- Quick learner, self-starter, and ability to adapt to evolving technologies and environments
- Strong time management and prioritization capabilities
- Ability to articulate how Red Hat’s virtualization and hybrid cloud product portfolio maps to the customer’s strategic use cases
