About the role

  • Support enterprise customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions
  • Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration and microservices
  • Perform technical reviews and proactively identify and prevent issues
  • Understand customer technical infrastructures and advocate on their behalf
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams
  • Create documentation regarding customer issues and resolutions
  • Manage and grow customer relationships through attentive support

Requirements

  • Prior experience in technical support, engineering, operations, or quality assurance roles
  • Strong understanding of Linux, and supporting areas such as networking, storage, and security
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and specifically with OpenShift Virtualization
  • Deep familiarity with OpenShift architectures, APIs, operators, and cluster operations
  • Strong customer-facing skills: ability to grow relationships, foster trust, and communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Commitment to pursue relevant Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, OpenShift Administration, OpenShift Virtualization)
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work across internal (Red Hat) and external (customer, integrators, partners) teams
  • Quick learner, self-starter, and ability to adapt to evolving technologies and environments
  • Strong time management and prioritization capabilities
  • Ability to articulate how Red Hat’s virtualization and hybrid cloud product portfolio maps to the customer’s strategic use cases
