About the role

  • Provide strong leadership to a team of Account Executives, Solution Architects, and business development professionals—driving a culture of accountability, execution, and performance.
  • Own the customer relationship at the executive level, serving as Red Hat’s recognized sales leader and strategic advisor to the account.
  • Execute and exceed sales targets (ACV and ARR) by aligning sales motions, operational discipline, and customer success priorities.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with Global Telco leadership, product and engineering teams, and Red Hat’s global services and partner ecosystem.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring predictable pipeline management, disciplined sales execution, and consistent delivery of results across the organization.
  • Foster executive relationships with customers, NEPs, ISVs, and GSIs, ensuring Red Hat is positioned as a strategic partner for innovation, cloud, AI, and IP-based solutions.
  • Coach and grow talent within the team, building leadership capacity and ensuring coverage, structure, and resources align with long-term growth goals.
  • Shape Red Hat’s commercial strategy by serving as an expert adviser on complex deal structures and frameworks that maximize customer value and accelerate Red Hat’s growth.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, and partner teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement in customer engagement and delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with proven success leading and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the North American Telco market, customer landscape, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong track record of executing against ambitious sales targets while driving business expansion and market growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, sustain, and grow C-level strategic relationships within large Telco or Top 100 global accounts.
  • Experience translating strategy into execution, with proof points of growing revenue, scaling teams, and leading change.
  • Expertise in data center, cloud, and next-generation solutions (AI/IP, automation, virtualization).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex value propositions for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
