About the role

  • Support Commercial Corporate Sales team as Senior Specialist Solutions Architect focused on commercial customers
  • Discover and analyze customers’ business and technical needs and collaborate with Sales and technical delivery teams
  • Recommend, design, and implement complex offerings and solutions from the Red Hat portfolio (OpenShift, Virtualization, Application Services)
  • Meet revenue goals and deployment/service objectives while maintaining customer relationships
  • Prepare detailed specifications and implement customer installation plans
  • Design value-driven architectures and present application ROI of Red Hat technologies
  • Deliver recommendations and quality solutions to close new sales
  • Share knowledge and findings with team members to improve practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, IT architect, or an equivalent role within enterprise accounts
  • Ability to interpret customers’ business and technical needs
  • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations
  • Solid knowledge of hybrid cloud infrastructure and management solutions, including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, KVM, VMware vSphere, AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of technologies like clustering, directory services, identity management, SELinux
  • Broad understanding of the application life cycle from development to operations and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of key DevOps technologies including Linux containers, container management, security, and CI/CD tooling
  • Excellent communication and people skills, technical expertise, passion for open source, and understanding of business processes
  • Must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business
