About the role
- Drive new business sales and customer revenue growth through detailed discovery and delivery and technology solutions across the United States
- High-volume prospecting, cold calling, presenting, closing, and nurturing customer relationships
- Engage prospective customers in East Coast and West Coast markets and manage assigned territory
- Conduct solution-focused presentations to key decision-makers to secure new business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with established accounts via regular in-person visits and proactive service
- Identify and implement timely solutions to service challenges to ensure high client satisfaction
- Develop systems to promote client retention and foster long-term partnerships
- Leverage company tools, processes, and technologies to document activities and establish metrics for driving new business growth
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to drive sales and optimize revenue growth within the territory
- Report to Senior Director of Sales
Requirements
- 3+ years of consecutive experience in outside sales
- Proven background in service-based sales with expertise in B2C and/or D2C environments
- Experience in Logistics and Delivery industry
- Experience with E-Commerce technology and marketplaces
- Strong skills in territory management, lead generation, negotiation, and client relationship management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a CRM system is required (strong preference for Salesforce)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Comfortable traveling for onsite customer visits
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 5-10 pounds; specific vision abilities required; regular sitting, standing, verbal communication, and finger dexterity
