  • About the Role: Are you passionate about building the systems that empower engineers to build and ship software quickly and reliably? If you are a DevOps Engineer at Trase Systems, you will own the critical infrastructure that enables our engineering and research teams to iterate efficiently.\n
  • Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines for our backend, frontend, and machine learning services; Own and optimize the Bazel build system; Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the developer experience; Manage infrastructure with IaC; Implement security best practices in CI/CD; Troubleshoot build/deployment issues; Stay updated with CI/CD and cloud tech.\n
  • Requirements: Proven experience in DevOps/build and release; Bazel expertise; CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI; Python; Docker; problem-solving; communication; degree in CS/SE.\n

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or a similar role focused on build and release engineering.\n
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the Bazel build system is required.\n
  • Extensive experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.\n
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.\n
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker.\n
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues.\n
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.\n
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
