About the role

  • This is a remote position. Looking for a skilled and experienced Marketing Data Analyst to join a dynamic established marketing team on a remote basis for 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about turning complex marketing data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve campaign performance.
  • You'll be a key player in analyzing data from various marketing channels to optimize their digital presence and maximize ROI.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple marketing sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Power BI Development : Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide clear, compelling insights to stakeholders.
  • AI Tool Integration : Leverage AI tools for tasks such as predictive analytics, audience segmentation, and content optimisation to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, initiatives, and digital channels, providing regular reports on ROI and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to define business requirements, develop data-driven strategies, and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data Integrity : Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all marketing data, performing regular audits and validation checks.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on marketing or digital analytics.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
  • Power BI Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is essential, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • AI Knowledge: Familiarity with and a practical understanding of how to use AI tools for data analysis and marketing optimisation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Knowledge of other analytical tools and languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and translate complex data into practical business recommendations.
