About the role
- Maintain accurate personal financial records, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and investments
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure personal financial data is current and reliable
- Prepare and maintain personal budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Deliver a clear monthly personal finance summary
- Manage personal tax readiness and compliance in the South African context
Requirements
- Strong experience with South African personal tax (essential)
- Experience supporting founders, executives, or high-complexity individuals (highly advantageous)
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Calm, kind, and non-judgemental approach to sensitive financial matters
- Highly systems-oriented and process-driven
Benefits
- Fully remote, independent contractor role - initial onboarding approximately 20 hours and thereafter ongoing approximate 3 hours per week
