About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and send accurate live and tender quotations within required turnaround times.
- Create and maintain schedules using the company's scheduling system.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests for additional information.
- Source products and coordinate sample requests for customers.
- Assist with negotiations to achieve competitive pricing where appropriate.
- Ensure quotations are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Senior Estimator and internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, schedules, and customer communications.
- Uphold the values of urgency, reliability, quality, and solution-oriented service in all daily activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in architectural ironmongery or a related construction/building products industry.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Product sourcing and negotiation skills are advantageous.
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
