About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure accurate financial data entry, reconciliations, and payroll review.
- Assist in reviewing business and instalment activity statements.
- Preparation and review of monthly payroll tax reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly management reporting and reconciliations.
- Provide support to junior team members as and when required.
- Support onboarding and training new hires.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and client requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll. (Australian client experience preferred)
- At least 1-2 years in an intermediate bookkeeper role.
- Strong understanding of Xero and Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of Australian payroll compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Nice to have skills: Experience with Xero Ecosystem apps including Dext, Deputy, Lightspeed.
