About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet with clients to complete intakes
  • Identify clients’ individual recovery needs
  • Connect clients to appropriate services and resources
  • Help clients navigate linked services and resources
  • Develop relationships with clients and guide them through their recovery journey
  • Encourage clients to follow through on linked resources and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the medical director, nurse practitioners, and counselors to provide comprehensive treatment plans
  • Work independently, take ownership of client care, and build rapport in a collaborative team environment
  • Work with patients from across California
  • Report to the Program Manager for the program
  • Work 40 hours per week across 4–5 days

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified or Registered Alcohol or Drug Counselor OR Licensed Therapist (LCSW, ACSW, LMFT, AMFT, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in addiction treatment
  • Fluent in Spanish is nice to have
  • People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
