About the role
- Recover works to make addiction treatment and mental healthcare more effective, accessible, and affordable
- Outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment program using a harm reduction approach focused on marginalized communities
- Work directly with adult patients providing one-on-one, group, and family counseling for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Develop relationships and guide patients through recovery
- Collaborate with medical director, physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers to develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans
- Full-time role (40 hours/week across 5 days); report to Clinical Supervisor; salary commensurate with experience and includes benefits
Requirements
- CAADC / LAADC certification valid in California from one of the three state-recognized certifying organizations
- OR be an AMF / ASW / APCC in need of supervised practice hours
- 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
- Experience treating addiction (nice to have)
- Lived experience with substance use (nice to have)
- Fluent in Spanish (nice to have)
