About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • **We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to join our growing data team and play a key role in shaping and modernising our data landscape.****
  • **This is a **hands-on, delivery-focused role**, where you will design, build and optimise data pipelines, enabling better decision-making, improved customer experience, and scalable data solutions across the business.****
  • **You’ll work closely with Product, Business Analysts and Engineering teams to turn data into real business value.****

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • **What we’re looking for**
  • - Strong experience in building and maintaining **data pipelines and data models**
  • - Solid SQL skills and understanding of **data architecture principles**
  • - Experience working with **Azure data technologies** (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.)
  • - Knowledge of **data transformation, ingestion, and orchestration**
  • - Familiarity with **CI/CD, version control and testing practices**
  • - Experience working in **Agile environments**
  • - Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • **Nice to have**
  • - Experience with tools like **Databricks or NoSQL databases**
  • - Exposure to **data governance, metadata, or cataloguing tools**
  • - Experience working with **unstructured data or OCR workflows**
  • - Understanding of **data visualisation tools or ML frameworks**
