About the role

  • Deploy, operate, and optimize Azure & AWS environments (VMs, VNets, serverless, storage, databases).
  • Design scalable, secure cloud architectures.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Automate deployments and environment provisioning.
  • Use Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or similar tools for IaC.
  • Maintain version-controlled infrastructure and reusable templates.
  • Extend monitoring using Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.
  • Ensure high uptime & proactively address issues.
  • Apply cloud security best practices, RBAC, identity governance, and compliance controls.
  • Conduct periodic audits and improve security posture.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot critical cloud incidents.
  • Partner with development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Offer technical guidance and promote DevOps best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible)
  • CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Linux/Ubuntu administration
  • Containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Proven Azure PaaS experience (Functions, App Service, AKS, networking, etc.)
  • Hands-on IaC automation (Terraform preferred)
  • CI/CD pipeline ownership and strong troubleshooting ability
