About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement global standards for secondary packaging equipment
  • Drive standardisation of equipment and vendor base to improve cost, lead time, and efficiency
  • Define technical specifications (URS) and collaborate with OEMs
  • Support and lead CAPEX projects (~50% of time), including vendor selection, FAT/SAT, and project execution
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and internal standards
  • Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build and manage supplier relationships and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, R&D, Quality, Procurement, IT)
  • Act as a go-to technical expert for packaging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar) or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, including CAPEX projects
  • Strong expertise in secondary packaging technologies
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Project and vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Results-driven and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
