About the role

  • Collaborate closely with local teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for the markets assigned to you
  • Perform variance analyses and apply rigorous controls to ensure the accuracy of payslips
  • Act as a subject matter expert on payroll issues, respond to employee inquiries and escalate complex cases when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, labor law requirements and legal obligations
  • Oversee the preparation, validation and timely submission of payroll reports, ensuring data integrity and reliability
  • Manage statutory documentation related to taxes, employee benefits and wage garnishments
  • Administer employee benefits and associated compensation elements, including insurance premiums, sick pay allowances and other entitlements
  • Monitor payroll schedules and ensure all payments and filings meet designated deadlines
  • Serve as a key contact for external payroll providers and public authorities
  • Contribute to payroll transformation projects, including automation, system enhancements and process redesign
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure optimal audit readiness

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in accounting, finance, management or a related field
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on payroll management experience, ideally within an international environment
  • Proven experience with HR and payroll systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration with external payroll providers (such as ADP or Strada) and experience managing multi‑country payrolls
  • Deep understanding of French payroll regulations, tax rules and social compliance
  • Strong customer service orientation and clear communication with employees and stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset — supportive, cooperative and team‑oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • French proficiency at C2 level
  • English proficiency at C1 level
