About the role
- Define and lead the implementation of the optimal strategy to deliver business objectives
- Manage and continuously improve the procurement process for the category
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, managing performance
- Build close co-operation with internal stakeholders across Supply Services, Factories, Finance, Quality, Legal
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Prepare and lead contract and business negotiation with freight providers
- Proactively identify and assess vulnerability to key business risks and mitigate risk
Requirements
- Bachelor/master’s degree in business, science/engineering, supply chain or equivalent
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Procurement
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and leading a small team is advantageous
- Additionally, experience in Logistics is a must
- Very good English communication skills oral and written, second language is a plus
