About the role

  • Review and Close Monthly P&L ensuring full and accurate reporting of Balance Sheet and P&L by Brand
  • Analyzing Spend by Brand to communicate and challenge variances to Budget/Last Year
  • Manage Marketing spend in line with Budget, challenging relevant budget holders
  • Track and control Bonus Pack/Sample spend to be within Budget
  • Ensure internal control processes on Marketing Spend
  • Provide month-end reporting packs with insightful analysis
  • Propose and create solutions to business challenges
  • Partner directly with local and area finance teams on metrics and business reviews
  • Dive deeply into financial data for additional insights
  • Work on projects impacting the entire organization
  • Create presentations identifying required action items

Requirements

  • Commercially astute qualified accountant
  • Experience in an FMCG environment
  • CA / CIMA or ACA qualified
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective communication
  • Well-rounded experience in both Supply and Commercial
  • Clear understanding of various business processes
