About the role

  • Responsible for preparing, development and execution of experiments and trials and product evaluations for product development and process development activities
  • Develop and maintain databases required in innovation, product development and process development
  • Prepare appropriate technical documentation for tests and studies
  • Responsible for budget preparation and expense monitoring
  • Applies knowledge of ingredient functionality, interactions and other food science principles for optimum product design
  • Utilizes pertinent regulatory guidelines in all aspects of product formulation to ensure legal compliance
  • Effectively communicates technical topics to various audiences to influence decisions
  • Participates in cross-functional teams in various improvement and enabler programs

Requirements

  • B.S. in Food Technology/Food Science, Food Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other Science related course
  • Master’s Degree is an advantage.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in food/pharmaceutical/beverage manufacturing industry in R&D, QA or production functions
  • Basic knowledge in food and nutrition, food ingredient functionality, nutrient fortification and its application
  • Applied working knowledge in Dairy Science, Food Science, Formulation Development, interpretation of food regulations
  • Knowledge of Asia Regulatory environment is an advantage
  • Experience in handling multiple projects at one time
  • Experience in multinational company
  • Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
