About the role

  • Establishes packaging systems with maximum efficiency
  • Develops and specifies new and revised packaging
  • Develops and implements process improvements
  • Oversee execution of testing, mold qualification, and transport and storage tests
  • Participate in Marketing-led meetings, representing packaging and coordinating with Supply and Research & Development teams
  • Exchange information and best practices with local and global teams to align improvements and innovations
  • Support the development of contingency plans
  • Engage in discussions with packaging suppliers to pursue improvements and innovations
  • Conduct market benchmarking and develop innovation plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Intermediate to advanced English
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience in packaging development preferred
  • Basic knowledge of rigid plastic materials, labels, flexible films, cartons, and corrugated cardboard
  • Basic knowledge of project and risk management, including definition of contingency plans
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model at our factory in Raposo Tavares, São Paulo (SP)
