About the role
- Establishes packaging systems with maximum efficiency
- Develops and specifies new and revised packaging
- Develops and implements process improvements
- Oversee execution of testing, mold qualification, and transport and storage tests
- Participate in Marketing-led meetings, representing packaging and coordinating with Supply and Research & Development teams
- Exchange information and best practices with local and global teams to align improvements and innovations
- Support the development of contingency plans
- Engage in discussions with packaging suppliers to pursue improvements and innovations
- Conduct market benchmarking and develop innovation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields
- Intermediate to advanced English
- Spanish is a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Previous experience in packaging development preferred
- Basic knowledge of rigid plastic materials, labels, flexible films, cartons, and corrugated cardboard
- Basic knowledge of project and risk management, including definition of contingency plans
- Availability to work in a hybrid model at our factory in Raposo Tavares, São Paulo (SP)
