About the role
- Lay the groundwork for all facets of financial planning, including strategic planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts
- Be instrumental in the automation of eCommerce reporting, utilising existing data architectures
- Provide guidance and implement best practises for accounting compliance and consistent financial reporting across the division
- Engage in a variety of ad hoc analyses, ranging from margin analysis to exploring new business models
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification(Honours degree) specializing knowledge in corporate finance, investment, risk etc
- Chartered Accountant (CA) SA
- 1-2 years post articles experience advantage
- Strong Excel capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset that also appreciates the broader perspective
- Inventive problem-solving skills, with a flair for creativity
- Basic knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles
