About the role

  • Lead global durex Sensory and Consumer Science related projects, partnering with Global R&D in Thailand, China IW Innovation Hub and global Marketing team.
  • Plan & design consumer product research to answer key business questions.
  • Provide insightful data/insights to enable business growth.
  • Build Consumer Science capability in Greater China region.
  • Build and manage efficient consumer panels for Reckitt community.
  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative consumer research studies (focus groups, interviews, online surveys, etc.).
  • Identify and trial new consumer interaction methodologies to explore emerging insights.
  • Develop capabilities in support of Reckitt initiatives on product feedback and concept creation.
  • Identify and manage relationships with third parties for external consumer capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Market Research codes of best practice and data protection requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of best practices across the SCSE team.
  • Focus on Germ Protection category.

Requirements

  • Significant experience within FMCG or consumer health companies in product categories where consumer science is important.
  • Strong hands-on Consumer research experience – 6+ years of designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies.
  • Ability to effectively translate technology opportunities into consumer propositions.
  • Experience in insight generation and data analysis from structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to integrate sensory and consumer methods into research plans and data.
  • Experience presenting to small/medium groups (<20) and senior management.
  • A genuine and demonstrated passion in product innovation/development within FMCG industries.
  • Must be self-motivated, a natural leader and ambitious.
  • Fluent in English.
