About the role
- Plan, direct and monitor production activities to maximize resources and meet targets for volume, cost, waste control and quality standards
- Define and implement the plant strategy for the next 2–3 years
- Lead the RPS/TPM manufacturing program, driving cultural transformation
- Monitor manufacturing schedules and procedures, allocating resources to maximize productivity
- Drive productivity and cost-reduction programs, using tools to identify losses and propose systemic solutions
- Make strategic decisions to enable continuous operational improvement
- Liaise with functional areas (procurement, logistics, sales) to integrate requirements into production planning
- Develop strategies to improve plant performance, addressing chronic losses with systemic solutions
Requirements
- Leadership of industrial/manufacturing operations in complex environments
- Implementation of operational excellence programs (RPS, TPM or similar)
- Factory strategic planning with a mid-term outlook
- Management of productivity, cost reduction and continuous improvement
- Interface with corporate functions and management of multidisciplinary teams
