About the role
- Work hand in hand with our system experts to ensure all IT capabilities are utilized in the journey to predict the sales trends
- Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolio
- Work closely with demand planners across Europe to reflect the market trends and strategy
- Use the analytical, marketing, and sales data of an item/customer/brand to effectively estimate future product demands for a tactical (1-6 months) and strategic forecast (7-24 rolling months)
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
- Have the autonomy to challenge when necessary
Requirements
- A university degree or are a last year-university student in Econometrics, Statistics, IT or other data-related science
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, deep understanding of statistical models
- Interest in machine learning
- Experience in demand forecasting and ERP system experience is a plus
- Self driven and pro-active
- MS Office suite(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency
