About the role

  • Assume leadership for low-risk R&D projects in relevant category
  • Maintain good communication with Marketing, Supply, R&D Categories, and other functions
  • Knowledgeable with basic laboratory techniques for working at the bench
  • Understand the Product Development Process as it pertains to R&D functions
  • Read, understand, and apply SOP/ ISO/ GLP protocols
  • Conduct performance and analysis evaluations of competitive products
  • Ensure that the Project development elements are carried out for each project
  • Support cost-saving initiatives
  • Provide a clear definition of products, marketing claims, and raw materials requirements
  • Provide technical support to QA, QC to deal with local consumer complaints

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent to the region in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant science
  • One to two years’ experience in a FMCG company desirable
  • Project Management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills desirable
  • Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions
