About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enable healthier planet choices through data-driven decision making
- Discover information in large structured and unstructured datasets to support smarter decisions and better products
- Support development of a sustainability technology ecosystem
- Support reporting capabilities and future predictive/prescriptive analytics tools
- Translate business needs into clear data, functional and technical requirements
- Lead data and solution discovery, analyzing data sources, structures, quality, relationships and gaps
- Work hands-on with complex structured and unstructured data
- Support data mapping, validation and definition of business rules
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual or file-based processes
- Shape scalable and integrated solutions
- Work with developers, architects and product teams to identify dependencies, integration points and overlaps with existing solutions
- Support end-to-end delivery and ensure implemented solutions remain aligned with agreed requirements and deliver sustainable business value
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a technical Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience working with complex data sets, data structures and data flows
- Experience in data discovery, mapping, validation and defining data and business rules
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional, data and technical requirements
- Experience working with developers, data engineers, architects and business stakeholders throughout the solution delivery lifecycle
- Good understanding of system integrations, APIs, data pipelines or cloud-based data solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly in English
- Experience with FMCG data, metrics or business processes would be an advantage
- Experience in sustainability would be an advantage
- Knowledge or skills related to Platform Engineering, Agile Best Practices, User Experience Design, Compliance Management, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Containerisation, AWS, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes
