About the role

  • Prepare supporting documentation, reconciliations, record journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany journal entries across multiple entities while supporting the development of scalable intercompany processes.
  • Support accounts payable operations, including vendor management, invoice processing, and 1099 reporting.
  • Assist with revenue recognition and reconciliations.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and contribute to financial statements and GAAP-compliant reporting.
  • Provide flux analysis on budget to actuals and financial statements.
  • Support payroll accounting, year-end tax documentation, and audit preparation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite and collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting across multiple entities is a plus.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, payroll accounting, or financial reporting is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Candidates located in U.S. time zones west of the Mississippi preferred.
