About the role

Drive architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Mentor and support engineers through regular feedback and guidance.
Collaborate with product and design to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Own the technical roadmap for your team and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Work on secure communication with end-to-end encryption as part of the platform.

Experienced developers with CS degree or equivalent knowledge and 6+ years of professional coding.
Production experience with React and/or Golang (or other C-family languages).
Experience (1-2+ years) managing a team of developers and acting as tech lead.
Value empathy and contribute to a positive work environment.
Comfortable with advanced topics: build pipelines, bundle analysis, caching, rendering, database optimisation.
Experience with CI and testing frameworks.
Desire to become a technical owner of part of the code base.
Proactive and proficient in full product development flow: asking questions, clarifying specs, etc.
Written questions/requirements/docs in a remote setup.
