About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take responsibility for the technical development, stability, and performance of our two Shopify stores.
Develop innovative Shopify front-end and back-end solutions.
Proactively deliver new features and maintain themes and apps to a state-of-the-art standard.
Build Shopify apps and ensure their integration into existing Shopify stores.
Translate wireframe designs into code and implement custom applications and layout changes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS/PostCSS, as well as experience with Shopify Plus and app development (front-end and back-end).
Proficient with Shopify CLI, Liquid, the Theme Editor (schema/settings), and Shopify Theme Sync.
Experience developing back-end functionality using Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar technologies.
Proficient with GitHub.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent German skills and very good English skills, enabling you to communicate comfortably in both languages.
Ability to work independently, self-discipline, and a focused, results-oriented approach.
Motivated, reliable, and demonstrate a high degree of loyalty and conscientiousness in handling code.
Open-minded and willing to contribute new ideas to improve processes and products.
