About the role

  • Connect product category plans with sales channels ensuring alignment on product strategy
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics, build business cases for new products
  • Partner with teams in engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and sales
  • Evaluate in-market performance to identify opportunities for enhancement and rationalization
  • Develop business cases for new product opportunities based on consumer insights and market gaps
  • Leverage market research and trend analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to create compelling launch strategies and product messaging

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; High school diploma required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, category management, or merchandising, ideally within consumer goods, automotive, or related industries
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel and multi-tiered distribution models (eCommerce, retail, wholesale)
  • Strong background in product lifecycle management, including product development, pricing strategy, and launch execution
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects from ideation to launch
  • Financial acumen and experience managing P&L or EBITDA-driven category metrics
