About the role
- Help manage, supervise, and review the development of Installation Manuals for aftermarket truck accessories using Wrike project management software.
- Assign projects to Technical Illustrators, manage assets and timelines, support review and approval processes, communicate with process partners, and support multilingual translations from 3rd party sources.
- Proficiently utilize the team’s project management software to streamline project tracking, feedback, and deadlines.
- Maintain a well-organized file structure for all work to ensure efficiency and accessibility across teams.
- Partner with Design Engineers, Program Managers, Marketing, OEM Customers, Technicians, and Sales to ensure accuracy, consistency, and user-friendliness of all deliverables.
- Participate in collaborative reviews to refine content and align project goals.
- Support the Technical Illustrators when needed by utilizing Adobe InDesign to craft visually clear and professional installation sheets by integrating illustrations, product details, and existing template layouts.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or illustration preferred or applicable work experience in lieu of a degree is required.
- 2+ years’ experience working in project management, preferably as part of a Graphic Design team in product development or automotive accessories context is required.
- Graphic Design experience a plus.
- Experience using Wrike project management software.
- Knowledge of technical documentation, including Installation Manuals, Operator Instructions, etc.
- Skilled in Adobe Suite.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to find solutions and deal proactively with problems.
- Ability to be highly detail oriented.
- Ability to meet project deadlines.
