About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational assistance across multiple functional areas including Property Operations, the Utility Rate Team (URT), and Activity.
- Process and audit a variety of property and resident-related service requests.
- Ensure transactions are completed accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate with utility providers as necessary to obtain information, resolve discrepancies, and support billing accuracy.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and internal departments to expedite issue resolution and support client needs.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and process improvement efforts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an operational, billing, accounting, analytical, or data-driven environment.
- Experience working with high-volume transaction processing is preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent data entry and data validation skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
