About the role

  • Drive New Deals: Own and close opportunities within your territory, executing a focused, consultative, value-driven sales motion.
  • Territory Expansion: Identify, pursue, and land new business in key verticals aligned with SAFR’s strengths.
  • Customer Discovery: Engage deeply with prospects and customers to understand their operational and security needs.
  • Demo & Solutioning: Learn the product inside and out to deliver confident demos and shape proposals that highlight our differentiated value.
  • Pipeline Discipline: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM and provide reliable forecasts to the Vice President, North American Sales.
  • Channel Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key reseller partners and integrators to expand reach and drive joint success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in access control, physical security, or related enterprise technology sales.
  • Proven ability to manage and close complex sales cycles with integrators, resellers, and enterprise end-users.
  • Experience bringing AI/ML or other emerging technologies to market.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Hands-on operator comfortable rolling up your sleeves to support customers directly, from running POCs to troubleshooting workflows side by side in the field.
  • Strong technical curiosity and comfort with learning and demoing new technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • High integrity, low ego, and a collaborative mindset.
  • CRM proficiency and strong pipeline discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel ~50% or as needed to meet business goals.
  • Must live in a major metropolitan area in the Eastern United States.
