About the role
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend across multiple cloud providers.
- Produce cost reports, dashboards, and periodic financial reviews (actuals vs forecast).
- Support the implementation of FinOps best practices, including cost allocation, budgeting, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Finance teams to ensure transparent and accurate cost governance.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executives.
- Contribute to the development and automation of cost-optimization workflows and alerts.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Governance role.
- Foundational knowledge of at least two cloud providers (preferably Azure and OCI).
- Strong numerical, financial, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and senior-level executives.
- Good understanding of cloud billing models, pricing structures, and cost-management methodologies.
