About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and oversee daily operational workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Real Wallet program, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform a variety of manual operational tasks, including updating reports, reconciling data between different systems, and managing data transfers to maintain system integrity.
- Act as a key point of contact for ensuring data alignment across various systems, flagging discrepancies, and taking corrective action as outlined in SOPs.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date program reports and dashboards
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal teams, including product, engineering, finance and support, to address operational issues and ensure a seamless workflow.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or areas for improvement within existing processes
- Comfortable collaborating with a manager based in the USA, maintaining clear and timely communication across time zones and aligning effectively through overlapping working hours.
- Assist in the documentation and refinement of existing SOPs to improve clarity and efficiency.
- Explore and implement automation scripts or tools to reduce manual effort for repetitive tasks over time.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations-heavy role, preferably within the financial services, fintech, or payments industry.
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data entry and management in various systems.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus and will be a key area for growth in this role.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Metabase, Looker) and experience building dashboards or visual reports is a plus.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with both technical and non-technical teams, as well as with leadership.
