About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all phases of litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation disputes.
Oversee intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright enforcement.
Partner with business teams to proactively identify legal risks and develop practical solutions.
Select, manage, and supervise outside counsel.
Lead internal investigations, subpoena responses, and e-discovery processes.
Counsel internal stakeholders on legal risk mitigation strategies.
Develop litigation strategies, support settlement negotiations, and assist with motion and brief drafting.
Monitor and advise on evolving legal and regulatory developments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
5+ years of experience in a law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house corporate legal environments.
Strong knowledge of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Technical curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and internal processes.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with legal technology and e-discovery platforms.
